The islands of The Bailiwick of Guernsey are located on the south-western side of the English Channel.
The Guernsey Meteorological Office is currently located at Guernsey Airport, primarily for the provision of current and reliable local meteorological information to aviation users. We also maintain the only synoptic register in the Channel Islands and work closely with our colleagues at Jersey Met to provide weather information to the community.
Our team of six dedicated Meteorological Observers, headed by Peter de la Mare (Senior Met Officer), are continuosly monitoring weather conditions throughout each day of the year.
